A large portion of the Campus Store student hiring is to support the September and January rush period (first 4 weeks of class each term). A small number will be invited to remain on staff for the entire school year to work at the Campus Store. Students should be prepared to work 15 to 20 hours per week for the Rush period, and must be available for 1 training shift in April and 1 training shift in mid to late August. If you are invited to stay and work throughout the 2018/19 school year, students are expected to work 10 hours per week.
Must be enrolled at Brock at time of employment. Previous retail experience including cash handling responsibilities. Clothing store retail experience considered an asset Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow merchandizing guidelines and standards Superior customer service skills Positive ambassador for Brock University with a focus on adding value to the student experience
